Tenth International Symposium on Land Subsidence (20-24 April 2020, the Netherlands) Call for abstracts open: New innovative technologies and approaches are needed to reduce or, in the best case, to stop land subsidence. TISOLS2020 intends to bring together 300+ international experts to share the latest research and insights on natural and anthropogenic land-level lowering.

Adaptation Futures 2020 in India (27-30 April 2020) The 6th International Climate Change Adaptation Conference envisages to advance the overall theme of 'accelerating adaptation action and knowledge to support action'. The conference seeks to explore this overarching need through multiple thematic tracks.

Dutch Diamonds in the delta, seminar and matchmaking event, (8 May 2019, Utrecht, the Netherlands) 'Dutch Diamonds in the Delta' is a research program by Utrecht University, Deltares, RVO, LANDac about inclusive and resilient delta interventions in the global South. The findings of an assessment are used to develop a multi-year program for the Dutch National Research Agenda (NWA), aimed at strengthening the linkages between the Dutch Delta Approach and the SDGs. In order to assure co-production a consortium of stakeholders will be established for the NWA program, consisting of private sector actors, knowledge institutions and civil society organization. On May 8 a seminar will be held for (potential) consortium members and other key institutions in order to present the findings and discuss the further development of the Dutch Diamonds in the Delta program.
