Covenant of Mayors webinar: 'Financing adaptation actions' (6 February 2020) The Covenant of Mayors - Europe Office is organizing this webinar to provide an overview of various opportunities for financing climate change adaptation in municipalities. Besides an overview will be given of several resources that feature practical experiences, and a tool will be presented that gathers information on EU-wide funding initiatives, support services and innovative financing schemes. The Covenant cities of Athens and Rotterdam will share their experience.

Seminar: 'Territorios del Agua' (3 December 2019) Reflection and exchange of Argentinean academic projects, plus the perspective and experience of The Netherlands. In this seminar, representatives of different Argentinean universities will present graduate and postgraduate workshop productions, to generate a scope for reflection on the problem of the design and implementation of nature-based solutions in Argentina. Additionally, Dutch experts will offer keynote lectures with reflections and case studies on the subject.
2nd International River Summit (28-30 November 2019, India) The theme of this summit is ‘Building a Sustainable and Resilient Future Through Water’. It is organised by the River Water User Association (India) and the International River-Basin Foundation. The focus will be on integrated water resources and their management to achieve water and food security; climate change impacts; agricultural development; ways to achieve sustainability through latest technologies, information and communications technology (ICT) and resource mobilization.

Dhaka Water Knowledge Days 2019 (27-31 October 2019) This event will focus on exchange of experiences, knowledge, development and good practices in the water sector amongst Bangladesh, and International water experts. The event will include workshops and practical presentations by Bangladesh and International experts while simultaneously offering opportunities of training in specific various open-source software alongside non-open source software packages.
