Fundación Torcuato Di Tella
The institution, created in 1958, develops among other activities, the management of research projects and technical assistances, particularly regarding environmental issues, climate change and energy. Those activities are being carried basically by the Centre for Studies on Global Climate Change (CECcG), which was created in 2002. It is relevant to remark that the CECcG has been selected by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as one of the research centres that comprise the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change (NWP), due to its experience in negotiations on adaptation, and which has presented several initiatives for capacity building programs and training.

Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA)
Centro Regional Buenos Aires Norte: The INTA is a decentralized government agency with operational and financial autonomy under the Ministry of Agro Industry of the Nation. It was created in 1956 to develop research activities and technological innovation in value chains, regions and territories to improve the competitiveness and sustainable rural development. Within the Institution, the Centro Regional Buenos Aires Norte contributes to an integral and sustainable development of the territories of the Region of Northern Buenos Aires and currently has a Regional Centre and six  Agricultural Experimental Stations: Parana Delta, General Villegas, Pergamino, San Pedro, Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area and Don Domingo and Dona Maria Barnetche - Bolivar, with their rural extension agencies.

Fundacion para la Conservacion y el Uso Sustentable de los Humedales / Wetlands International
Wetlands International works in Argentina through an agreement with the Fundacion para la Conservacion y el Uso Sustentable de los Humedales (Foundation for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wetlands - Fundación Humedales-), which was legally established on May 2006. Wetlands International and the Fundacion para la Conservacion y el Uso Sustentable de los Humedales share the goal of "conserve and restore wetlands, their resources, their functions and biodiversity, natural and cultural heritage through research, information exchange and conservation activities."

Instituto de Investigaciones e Ingeniería Ambiental (3iA) (UNS)
It is a Research Institute depending on the National University of San Martin. It develops activities such as teaching, research, technology development, engineering, management, transfer and extension in the environmental area, through the formation of human resources and obtaining the physical and economic requirements needed in order to give answers to environmental problems that demand society and contribute to sustainable development.

Instituto Superior de Urbanismo, Territorio y Ambiente, (UBA)
It is a Research Institute depending on the University of Buenos Aires focused on promoting research and consequent production of new knowledge in the core and complementary disciplines regarding the analysis of urban and metropolitan phenomenon, the broad spectrum of its size and its impact on human activities.

Centro de Investigaciones de Políticas Urbanas y de Vivienda (CIPUV - UTDT)
It is a Research Centre depending on the Torcuato Di Tella University focused on the generation of rigorous academic research to inform decision-making in urban policy (in particular on housing). It aims to establish a focused field of academic studies related to Housing and Urban Policy for the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, as well as at national level.
