Knowledge and Innovation on Water + Climate, (NKWK in Dutch) On 21 April Delta Alliance organises the session on ‘International delta knowledge and developments’ during the conference on Water and Climate change organised by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.
World Water Forum 7 theme event (12-17 April 2015, Republic of Korea) Together with the Action Network Form Source to Sea, the Delta Alliance organises a session on implementation of the ‘blue economy’ in deltas. Theme event is called: 'Green investment for blue economy – managing sources for coastal and marine water quality improvements'.

Deltas in Africa Conference (Oct 14/16 - 2015) Conference theme: Practical steps from vulnerability to Sustainability. The overarching objective of the Conference on “Deltas in Africa” is to provide a vantage platform for African researchers, public/private sector managers and civil society organizations to interact and exchange data, knowledge, experiences and management policies on the vulnerability vis- a-vis sustainability of Deltas in Africa with emphasis on collaborative, multidisciplinary and integrated practical approaches

International Water Week Amsterdam (2-6 November 2015) The Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) is the platform for new alliances and fresh ideas: connecting industry, science, business, policy and technology. The event crosses borders between water and sanitation, deltatechnology, food, agriculture, finance and governance. Thus bringing together a unique mix of professionals conducive to the transition to a circular economy and resilient cities.
Delta’s in Times of Climate Change II conference in Rotterdam (23-26 September 2014) The Delta Alliance contributed to this Delta Conference in different ways. In the plenary session of the Conference, the chair of the Governing board, Mrs Tineke Huizinga gave a statement over Delta Alliance. As chair of the international governing board of the Delta Alliance she commented” I feel committed to build connections between the deltas in order to share knowledge, to identify knowledge gaps, to generate new knowledge and to provide innovative solutions. The DA also organised two workshops.

Deltas in Times of Climate Change II succesfully held with around 1200 attendees Deltas in Times of Climate Change II was all about sharing knowledge, experiences and building a worldwide network of researchers, governments and businesses. More than 1.200 participants from over 50 countries gathered for three days to participate in Round Table discussions, sessions on the science behind climate change and practical workshops. Delta Alliance contributed to this Delta Conference.

Workshop & Seminar Jakarta Climate Change Adaptation Tools: The Pathway Towards City Resiliency, 21 August 2014, Jakarta The JCAT project will hold its final workshop to showcase and share the tools and knowledge developed in the JCAT project, to discuss the progress of the project within a wider scope of city resiliency, and to explore concrete uses for further applications of tools and knowledge in practice.

Challenges, Approaches and Experiences from Asian Deltas and the Rhine-Meuse Delta, 19-23 October 2014, Bangladesh The workshop aims at professionals in delta management from South and Southeast Asia and offers a balanced combination of interactive lectures, case studies, field visit, and group assignments and discussions.
