The Second Ministerial Conference and Working Group Meeting of the Delta Coalition will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 28-29 July 2017. The Delta Coalition is currently composed of 12 governments from 4 continents: Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt, France, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Mozambique, Myanmar, South Korea, The Netherlands, The Philippines and Vietnam. The Conference will be participated by all the 12 members of the Coalition as well as by the experts, academia and civil society representatives as observers.  

As the incumbent Chair of the Delta Coalition, Bangladesh will host the Second Ministerial Conference and Working Group Meeting with the overarching theme ‘Sustainable Delta for Life’. In order to fulfill the objective of Delta Coalition as well as to work together to get deltas on the agenda worldwide, Bangladesh has decided to hold the Conference of the Delta Coalition, in parallel with the Dhaka Regional Water Conference and meeting of the Sherpas of the High level Panel on Water (HLPW), which will be running simultaneously.
