In the online masterclass series Urbanising Deltas of the World: the State of the Art of water research in South and Southeast Asia, and understanding on the relations between water, environment, society and sustainable development of deltas, will be explained. Furthermore, the masterclasses provides insights in methods and tools for (participatory) planning and management to support sustainable delta planning and management.

PhD and Postdoc researchers from various projects of the NWO-Urbanizing Deltas of the World (NWO-UDW) programme will present their work and discuss lessons learned from their research activities with the audience.

Four masterclasses will be organized around a relevant theme, addressed by the various NWO-UDW research projects implemented in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

The online masterclass series will be organized on 15 September, 22 September, 29 September and 6 October 2021. Starting at 9.30AM CEST (7.30AM GMT).
