UDW-call on Connecting Worlds of Knowledge (deadline 1 May 2019)

At the annual meeting of the Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW) research and innovation programme, a call on Connecting Worlds of Knowledge was launched by programme manager Han van Dijk. This call has a specific focus on enhancing the use and translation of UDW research results. The call will be continuously open until the budget is exhausted: the deadline for the first assessment round is 1 May 2019.

The ultimate aim is innovation and implementation in delta management and strengthening the development and implementation of delta policies and management. A particular contribution to the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BPDP2100) knowledge agenda is expected.

Funding can be requested for activities that contribute to the interlinkage of research and implementation. These include exchange, capacity development and next steps to implementation based on earlier research findings. Therefore, proposals should be submitted by a main applicant who is affiliated at an in-country institute or organisation.

This new call for proposals is part of the Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW) research and innovation programme, which is funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
