Conference theme: Practical steps from vulnerability to Sustainability.

The overarching objective of the Conference on “Deltas in Africa” is to provide a vantage platform for African researchers, public/private sector managers and civil society organizations to interact and exchange data, knowledge, experiences and management policies on the vulnerability vis- a-vis sustainability of Deltas in Africa with emphasis on collaborative, multidisciplinary and integrated practical approaches. This is planned as a “HOW TO “ Conference and would host a global participation.

a. Economic development and sustainable management of natural resources;
b. Climate change adaptation and green economy;
c. Natural hazard impacts, risk reduction and disaster management;
d. Environmental pollution, human health and remediation;
e. Governance, cultural resources and heritage management
