On the first of June 2012, the jury meeting for the Delta Alliance Young Professionals Award took place in Delft, the Netherlands. The jury (PDF) was pleased by the active, international participation in this award, as the call for solutions published in January 2012 drew an impressive number of 53 contributions, originating from 29 countries.

The names of the winners and their solutions will be published at the Delta Alliance side event to the Rio+20 conference for sustainable development on the 21st of June 2012 from 3.55 pm - 4.45 pm at the UNEP Pavilion, Athletes Park (opposite RioCentro).
