Delta Alliance would like to invite you to the Delta Alliance Young Professionals Award ceremony, which will take place on the 21st of June 2012 during a special Delta Alliance Side Event to the Rio plus 20 Conference for Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

During this side event, the three Award winners will present their innovative solutions for respectively the Pearl Delta (Republic of China), the Rhine-Meuse Delta (The Netherlands) and the Sacramento - San Joaquin Delta (California-USA). Keynote speeches will be made by Joop Atsma, Dutch State Secretary for Infrastructure and the Environment and Tineke Huizinga, Chair Delta Alliance International Governing Board. Louise O. Fresco, the chair of the Dutch National Platform for Rio+20 will present a short column on sustainability.
