Delta Information Platform

Delta Alliance, together with the World Estuary Alliance, has developed an online information platform for the worldwide sharing of delta related information: Delta-Zones.com. This platform will support the symbiosis of the many activities ongoing in delta regions, reducing unnecessary overlap in efforts. 

Delta Zones is a website where users can upload information on river deltas, organizations, experts, projects, events, and themes of relevance for river delta regions. Information is uploaded and maintained by site users, both through creating profiles of organizations, experts, projects, and events, and by contributing to wikis for deltas and themes. The whole history of additions and improvements to information on the site can be traced, so no information gets definitively lost.

Delta Zones is a valuable source for policy makers, practitioners, scientists, students, and public stakeholders - everyone who is interested in how river delta regions worldwide are responding to their distinctive challenges.
