The objective of the workshop was to engage with stakeholders (policy and decision makers) from Lake Victoria Region (16 counties) and to share experiences from other deltas under Delta Alliance Initiative and to start the Nyando Delta Plan development consultations.

Conclusions
The meeting agreed that Delta Alliance - Kenya Wing collaborates with the Lake Basin Development Authority as an institution with an overall legislative mandate, which overrides all the other institutions in the delta to spearhead the development of the Delta Plan.
