Report: Monitoring resilience of ecosystem services in Deltas. A global perspective

Climate change and socio-economic development are affecting the ecosystem services of deltas making them less resilient. How to monitor the resilience of ecosystem services in deltas? This report describes a framework of socio-ecological indicators divided within five different domains of this resilience concept: resistance or stability, adaptability, transformability, vulnerability and institutional capacity. These indicators were validated through interviews to relevant stakeholders with experience and knowledge on the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta in San Francisco, California.
